The PADI Wreck Diver course offers an exciting opportunity to explore and investigate shipwrecks. This specialty course covers the techniques and procedures needed to safely dive and explore wreck sites while minimizing environmental impact. It’s an excellent choice for divers who are fascinated by the history and mystery of underwater wrecks.
During the course, you will learn about wreck diving equipment considerations, techniques for entering intact wrecks, and how to research the history of wrecks you visit. The course includes four dives, with the option to credit a previous wreck dive from the PADI Advanced Open Water course towards your specialty certification.
By completing the PADI Wreck Diver course, you gain the skills and knowledge to safely explore and enjoy wreck dives. This certification is a great way to add depth to your diving adventures and discover the hidden stories behind underwater wrecks.
The typical PADI Wreck Diver Specialty schedule is completed over 3 days. The first afternoon is usually getting the theory completed so you feel prepared and ready for your dives. Followed by 2 mornings of diving (course schedule subject to slight change). We recommend you contact us and we can tailor a course or a package of courses to suit your needs.
The course includes all the elements required for completion: your own copy of the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty manual, internationally recognised PADI Wreck Diver specialty certification card, full equipment hire and boat fees, high quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors
