Push Your Limits: Dive into the PADI Rescue Diver Course at Master Divers!

The PADI Rescue Diver course is often hailed by divers as the most challenging yet rewarding course they have ever undertaken. It’s designed not only to enhance your dive skills dramatically but also to make the learning experience fun and engaging. By the end of the course, you'll notice a significant improvement in your ability to handle various scenarios, making you a more confident and capable diver.

At Master Divers, we keep our class sizes small, with a maximum of four students per instructor, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive learning environment. For those who prefer a more tailored experience, private tuition is also available. Additionally, we offer multi-course packages that allow you to continue expanding your diving knowledge and skills beyond the rescue diver level. Our course includes full equipment hire, so you don’t need to worry about additional gear.

To help you prepare, we provide a digital manual, which is both eco-friendly and convenient for travel. Before starting the course, you must show proof of valid first aid and CPR certification completed within the last two years. If you need to renew or obtain these certifications, you can complete the PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course with us at Master Divers, ensuring you're fully prepared for the rescue diver training.

How long does it take:

The PADI Rescue Diver course is normally taught over three days, with knowledge development completed in morning classroom sessions and the rescue training sessions and open water rescue scenarios completed across the 3 afternoons on one of our dive boats.

If you need to complete EFR, this will take an additional half-day.

Prerequisites:

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must be 15 years or older, have a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organisation) and be trained and current for First Aid and CPR within the previous 2 years. If not, the Emergency First Response course can be arranged as a one day course through Master Divers. This is valid for all First Aid situations covering scenarios, beyond what you might encounter in dive situations, and is valid for 2 years.

MEDICAL – There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.
