Our PADI Open Water Diver course is the perfect introduction to the adventurous diving lifestyle. Guided by our patient and dedicated instructors, you'll gradually learn the concepts and skills needed to explore the underwater world. Experience the ocean's diversity, vibrant reefs, and fascinating marine life up close.
By the end of the course, you'll be equipped with the skills and confidence to dive independently to a depth of 18m. You'll enjoy the excitement of the ocean and gain a solid foundation in essential diving techniques.
We prioritize personalized instruction, so our courses are designed for small groups of up to four students per instructor.
For those seeking a more tailored experience, private tuition is also available. We offer multi-course packages to provide a comprehensive learning journey, and our digital manual is an eco-friendly way to save paper and reduce baggage.
All essential equipment is included in the course fee, including free hire of a dive computer for all your dives. The course covers the PADI Open Water Diver E-Learning module, the internationally recognized PADI Open Water Diver certification card, full equipment hire, and boat fees. You'll receive high-quality instruction from experienced and qualified instructors, and enjoy tea, coffee, water, and light refreshments on the boat and at the dive center.

The PADI Open Water Diver course is scheduled over 2 and a half to 3 days.
Start: Sign up, pay deposit, start your e-eLearning
Day 1 – Starts at 9am with academic sessions. Expect at least an hour’s break for lunch followed by an afternoon in the water learning your skills and techniques in the pool. Your day will be complete around 5:30pm
Day 2 – Starts at 9am with academic sessions. Your afternoon will be spent underwater completing your first 2 Open Water dives on some of the amazing sites around Koh Tao. Your day will be complete around 5pm.
Day 3 – Starts around 6:30 am where will go on our morning boat and you will complete your final 2 Open Water dives and return to the dive center for certification.
Prerequisites:
To take this course, you must be 15 years old (or 10 years old for Junior Open Water Diver certification). You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
Medical:
There are certain medical conditions like asthma and heart conditions which may prevent you from diving. Please read the medical statement and let us know if any of the conditions listed on the form apply to you or any of your group prior to making a booking.
Flying after diving:
Please note when booking your holiday and transport that you should have at least 24 hours in between your last dive and flying.
