PADI Divemaster Course at Master Divers
Becoming a PADI Divemaster is your first step into the world of professional diving. At Master Divers, our program is designed to transform you into a confident leader through a comprehensive three-pillar curriculum.
Phase 1: Knowledge Development
Your journey begins with PADI Divemaster eLearning, a flexible online platform that builds your foundational expertise. You will dive deep into dive theory, risk management, and the business of diving, while learning how to supervise activities and protect the marine environment. This phase concludes with two final exams and the creation of an Emergency Assistance Plan (EAP) to ensure you are prepared for any scenario.
Phase 2: Water Skills Development
To lead others, you must first master the water yourself. This phase focuses on physical stamina and technical precision. You will complete a series of timed swims, a 15-minute float, and a diver tow, alongside an equipment exchange exercise. A core component of this section is the 24-skill demonstration circuit, where you will learn to perform basic scuba skills at a professional, "role-model" level.
Phase 3: Practical Application
This is where your training meets the real world. Through workshops and hands-on scenarios, you will learn the logistics of managing a dive site.
Workshops: You’ll practice leading skin diving, conducting ReActivate programs, and assisting with Discover Scuba Diving sessions.
Practical Assessments: You will work alongside our instructors to assist real students during Open Water and Continuing Education courses, gaining invaluable experience in diver supervision.
Professionalism & Role Model Behavior
Throughout the course, you aren't just a student; you are a professional in training. You will be evaluated on your teamwork, attitude, and appearance, as well as your commitment to environmental conservation. Candidates are scored on a scale of 1 to 5, with a minimum score of 3 required across all areas to demonstrate that you are ready to represent the PADI brand and Master Divers.
What sets Master Divers apart is our small, personalized approach. Unlike larger dive centers, we prioritize individual attention, ensuring that you receive the development and support you need. With a maximum of four candidates per instructor during in-water sessions, you’re not just another name on a list—we know who you are, understand your goals, and are committed to helping you succeed.
Whether you’re starting with no experience or already have a diving background, our PADI Divemaster course can take you from beginner to professional in around two months—a fast track compared to most other career paths. With multi-course packages, free internships, discounts on equipment, and more, we offer everything you need to start your dive career on the right foot.
