To enroll in the PADI Divemaster course at Master Divers, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
Minimum 40 Logged Dives: You should have at least 40 logged dives before starting the course. (Don’t worry if you’re short—we can help you reach this number with some of the included free dives.)
PADI Rescue Diver Certification or Equivalent: You must be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver or hold an equivalent rating from another recognized dive agency.
Valid First Aid & CPR Training: You need proof of first aid and CPR training within the past 24 months. This training must be verified as acceptable by PADI.
Medical Clearance: A medical statement confirming your fitness to dive, signed by a doctor within the last 12 months, is required.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old.
For the PADI Divemaster course at Master Divers, you’ll need the following essential equipment:
Dive Knife or Cutting Tool
Compass
Underwater Slate
Surface Marker Buoy
Reel
These items are crucial for ensuring safety and effective navigation during your dives and will be integral to your role as a Divemaster.
Your own personal dive equipment is reccomended however rental equipment will be available upon request.
To support your training and ensure you have all the resources you need, you'll require your own set of PADI Divemaster materials for studying and reference. We offer this comprehensive package for just 8,000 THB.
Additionally, upon completing the course, there is a Divemaster Application fee payable to PADI, currently set at AU$245.
